An opportunity has arisen at Millfield L.E.A.D. Academy for a reliable and flexible Premises Officer to join our team, who is keen to make a difference and assist with maintaining the premises and grounds to a high standard.  This post is part time (5 hours per day during term time plus 4 weeks) Th ideal working hours would be 7.00 am – 12. 00 pm but there is some flexibility around this.

• To be responsible for the general maintenance, cleanliness and security of the academy and to maintain
  the premises (both internally and externally) in a clean, safe, sound and secure condition for staff,
  pupils, parents and community users.
• To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the
  academy.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Good standard of maintenance and DIY experience
• An understanding of health and safety
• Ability to prioritise and plan own workload
• Good communication skills
