At Millfield Academy we are committed to enhancing every child’s education while supporting parents and carers with reliable wraparound childcare options. We understand the demands of busy schedules so we offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times to suit your work and personal commitments.
The Millzone is a vibrant space located in the small hall with secure access through the front double doors. Inside, children will find a world of fun- games, toys arts and crafts, play equipment plus a large screen and sound system for entertainment.
Run by our fully trained and qualified staff, we prioritise advance term bookings but also welcome casual bookings (subject to availability). Sessions run Monday – Friday term time only from children aged 5 years and over.

For both Breakfast and After School clubs children can spend time with their friends, make new friends and improve their socialising skills helping to build their confidence in a familiar setting. Children can enjoy a range of activities including craft, team games, board games, ball games, snooker, sewing and art. Weather permitting, children can also use the outdoor play facilities.
Please contact us to register your child with Millzone. You will need to complete an admission form before they can attend.
We are unable to accept children into Millzone unless they have been pre-registered.
